My stay was great, greatly enjoyed quiet vibes!

Location: the hotel was not far from shops pubs walking distance. Also, Castle was 3 km away. The room was incredibly comfortable, also it had smoke detectors.

Everyone here was very friendly and accommodating.

By and large, it was great base for sightseeing in Taghmon, had much fun. The atmosphere created was quiet. The room was big, offered useful things, such as fridges, an oven, and a stovetop. My wife liked the bed, it was exceptionally comfortable and we slept like in a cloud.

Cuckoo's Corner was almost nice, but there were certainly some letdowns. The bed was as hard as a rock, and despite expecting an upgrade for all my troubles, I received nothing. To add insult, the kitchen was a communal area, quite unsightly. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn't.

Howay, we had a smashing stay! The warm welcome from the staff was just canny, and the room was spotless with a proper big bathroom. Just a tad disappointed there weren't more restaurants in town, had to drive a bit for a good meal. But all in all, loved it!

We loved hanging out at the bar and playing games. Exploring the nearby Carrigleade Golf Course killed it and super convenient. The hotel offers a great vibe for group trips, with spacious rooms and friendly staff. Highly recommend the local trails for some fresh air!

We did face some issues with noise during the night as there were events happening nearby, hard to sleep sometimes.

The spacious beautiful double room provided a comfortable stay, highlighted by a large bathroom and cute atmosphere. Enjoying some crepes from the nearby supermarket was a good addition. The lack of nearby dining options required a bit of driving, and the communal kitchen was less appealing than I hoped. While the local pub was charming, its closure meant half the amenities were unavailable.

This was just a balanced option for taking strolls in Taghmon with good value for money. The bathroom was spacious and well-maintained, made our stay comfortable. Make sure to check the local pub opening hours before you head out.

The room was spacious and clean with all the amenities I needed. The shower? Oh wow, so refreshing! The best part was the warm ride the host offered to the nearby wedding venue.

The room was comfortable and had a great desk setup for late-night work. Plus, there were local pubs and take-outs nearby to explore.

The kitchen being communal was a bit of a surprise and not the most visually appealing setup. I prefer a bit more privacy. I found the bed to be harder than I typically like. Dining options in the immediate area were quite limited. You need to drive to find a decent restaurant, which can be a hassle after a long day of exploring. Lastly, while the atmosphere in the nearby village is charming, it's certainly lacking in entertainment options, with only a couple of pubs and take-outs nearby.

The cozy rooms above the bar were ideal for our family. The local atmosphere, and we had a lovely chat with the bar owner, who shared great stories about the village.

For dads, it would be great if there were more dining options nearby.
